This is really a title designed for fans of Assassin’s Creed II, as it’s a continuation of that story, but the reality is that people who finished that game want something new – or that at least represents a clear step forward. Brotherhood doesn’t deliver that. The game doesn’t advance the wider narrative very far, the new mechanics don’t really add a great deal and the mission designs rarely explore new gameplay possibilities.

That said, Brotherhood really looks the part, with a step up in the graphics department – particularly on PS3, and a massive and varied city to explore. It also introduces an innovative multiplayer suite, for which the team(s) should be applauded. At the end of the day, it depends what you’re looking for. If you’re new to Assassin’s Creed, this is a solid entry, but picking up the threads of the convoluted story may be a challenge. If you’re an experienced assassin, on the other hand, expect to tread pretty similar ground to the last title.","https://www.ign.com/articles/2010/11/16/assassins-creed-brotherhood-review","2010-11-16","8",80
27882
2872,"Kevin VanOrd
28,"https://cdn.criticdb.com/storage/v1/object/public/avatars/Outlets/GameSpot-Logo.jpg","GameSpot","https://www.gamespot.com","Not every mission is a success, but charismatic characters and a great final stretch elevate this enjoyable add-on.","https://www.gamespot.com/reviews/assassins-creed-brotherhood-the-da-vinci-disappear/1900-6303213/","2013-10-04","7.5",75
29247
3047,"Rashid Sayed
29,"https://cdn.criticdb.com/storage/v1/object/public/avatars/Outlets/Gaming%20Bolt%20Logo.png","GamingBolt","https://gamingbolt.com","Whilst it fails to be the Assassin's Creed 3 some were expecting, Brotherhood refines the single player formula to near perfection and also adds a clever and deep multiplayer experience","https://gamingbolt.com/assassins-creed-brotherhood-reviewed","2010-11-24","9.5",95
32144
3307,"Tyler Wilde
35,"https://cdn.criticdb.com/storage/v1/object/public/avatars/Outlets/PCGamer-Logo.jpg","PC Gamer","https://www.pcgamer.com/","100","","https://www.pcgamer.com/assassins-creed-brotherhood-review/","2011-03-28","86",86
48182
4078,"Sammy Barker
63,"https://cdn.criticdb.com/storage/v1/object/public/avatars/Outlets/Push-Square-Logo.jpg","Push Square","https://www.pushsquare.com/","Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood picks up moments after the end of Assassin's Creed II.
