Set in a universe somewhere between Lord of the Rings and Spinal Tap, it’s a fresh take on the action/driving genre, which in this case is full of imitation cover bands, demons intent on enslaving humanity and Heavy metal tunes. Featuring the talents of comedian, actor and musician, Jack Black as super roadie Eddie Riggs, as well as cameos by some of the biggest names in metal music it's a wild ride in the belly of the beast that is not to be missed by gamers and Metalheads alike.","187944/brtal-legend-cover.jpg","187944/brtal-legend-header.jpg","https://youtu.be/apbgshuBe6M","2009-10-13",null,212,"brutal-legend",[18,23
"Electronic Arts",false,true
"Double Fine Productions",[27,28,29,30,31],"Music","Real Time Strategy (RTS)","Simulator","Strategy","Adventure",[33,34,35],"PC (Microsoft Windows)","PlayStation 3","Xbox 360",[37,53,68,84,98,112,126
70587
4751,"Daemon Hatfield
69,"https://cdn.criticdb.com/storage/v1/object/public/avatars/Outlets/IGN-logo.jpg","IGN","https://www.ign.com/","10","Brutal Legend is a tour de force that wraps up humor, music, and clever gameplay into one highly polished package. You haven't played a game quite like this before and won't want to miss it. Tim Schafer is one of the funniest guys in games and Jack Black is one of the funniest guys in movies -- together they'll keep you ROFLing (although the laughs do taper off as you work your way through the game). Brutal Legend isn't quite perfect and there is room for improvement (it's a little short, side quests are repetitive...), but when the credits roll you'll find yourself hoping for a sophomore release. Double Fine created a rich heavy metal universe and backstory full of great characters and creatures, with potential for an out-of-this-world sequel. Here's hoping Schafer and company get a chance to take us there.","https://www.ign.com/articles/2009/10/12/brutal-legend-review","2009-10-12","9",90
53076
4408,"Tom Orry
74,"https://cdn.criticdb.com/storage/v1/object/public/avatars/Outlets/Videogamer-logo.jpg","Videogamer","https://www.videogamer.com/","Brutal Legend is a game that an awful lot of people are going to enjoy, despite its combat failings. I thought the story was good. There was always somthing going on but the game was too short and you could beat it in hours. There are many secondary quests though and from thos you earn fire tributes which can be used at the motor forge where you can upgrade your weapons, Deuce and all sorts of stuff. I Really liked the scenerie of the game with totaly epic things everywhere like chrome volcanoes, Veins with devil horns on them, stone guitars coming from the ground and even strees made of scaffolding. Tim Schafer did a pretty good job at this game and i was not dissapointed with the metal aspects. When you got your sterio in your car it was awsome because the have some pretty awsome bands like Judas Priest, Def Leapord, Motly crue, and so on and so forth. It was really cool how they got actual legends to star in the game like Lita Ford, Rob Halford, JACK BLACK WHO IS EDDIE RIGGS!! Lemmy kilmister, and Ozzy. Well enough about that now to actuall gameplay. Like in the tital... BRUTAL you can turn off the gore though but there is lots of gore and cutting people in half and lots of swearing which is also optional. Sorry Gmeplay seriously I really liked the whole stage battle thing where you build troops and command them but you can still help fight. When your in the free world it is fun because you can roam around killing stuff wile listening to painkiller and other good songs. And last but not least they did the thing that keeps people in ti.. added an rpg aspect where you can spend your fire tributes at the motor forge and get upgrades from the gaurdian of metal which i thought was good because deuce is so important he neddt weapons and a cool paint job too. I know there is more i just can't remember anyways hopefully i can edit it in!","https://www.noobfeed.com/reviews/brutal-legend","2009-10-20
148505
12585,"Lee Abrahams
152,"https://cdn.criticdb.com/storage/v1/object/public/avatars/Outlets/xbox-achievements-logo.jpg","Xbox Achievements","https://www.xboxachievements.com/","No doubt everyone is well aware of Brutal Legend by now, as the Jack Black fuelled marketing machine was in full swing for months prior to the game's release. Something that is an unusual trait for a Tim Schafer game, which generally enjoy slipping into existence under the radar and then attaining a cult following over time.
