Including Arcade, Nostalgia, Laboratory, and Arena modes, you'll play as Pix - who plays Pix - heading deeper and deeper into levels upon levels in a Snake-meets-Pac-Man digital world.

Enjoy a kinetic and stylized world within games where, in the arcade mode, your task is to liberate ducklings and trail them to the safe-zones without hitting the walls, getting stuck, or running into your feathered friends, gaining the highest score possible and comparing them on the leaderboards. Completing "achievements" opens up new game modes and unlocks fantastic artwork, hilarious announcer voices and your favorite tunes from the game's soundtrack! Among other surprising surprises...

Finally, Arena mode pits you against 3 friends in local multiplayer! With two players facing off on the same keyboard, connect additional controllers and blow your enemies to smithereens in epic battles of cats, ducks and eggs.","23340/pix-the-cat-cover.jpg","23340/pix-the-cat-header.jpg","https://youtu.be/Ag5bKTVOv10","2014-10-07",80.33,9374,"pix-the-cat",330180,[19,24,27
"Focus Entertainment",false,true
"Pastagames
"Playdigious",[31,32,33,34,35],"Puzzle","Role-playing (RPG)","Adventure","Indie","Arcade",[37,38,39,40],"PC (Microsoft Windows)","PlayStation 4","Xbox One","Nintendo Switch",[42,58,72,87,102,117
17153
1041,"Tom Bramwell
8,"https://cdn.criticdb.com/storage/v1/object/public/avatars/Outlets/EuroGamer-Logo.png","Eurogamer","https://eurogamer.net","5","So where does that leave us? Well, as long as you're reading this in October 2014, Pix the Cat should still be free on PlayStation Plus, so you can decide for yourself whether I'm mad to only like part of it. If you chance on these words a little later, though, I would suggest Pix the Cat is full of good ideas but for the most part flatters to deceive. Punch through to Nostalgia mode, though, and you may discover that this game, which adopts the finery of a retro remake without actually being one, does a much better job when it returns to its fictional roots.","https://www.eurogamer.net/pix-the-cat-review","2014-10-14","7/10",70
23003
2793,"Joey Marrazzo
26,"https://cdn.criticdb.com/storage/v1/object/public/avatars/Outlets/GameSkinny-logo.png","Game Skinny","https://www.gameskinny.com","10","Pix the Cat is the purrfect choice to scratch that arcade itch on your Switch.","https://www.gameskinny.com/reviews/pix-the-cat-review-purring-on-the-nintendo-switch/","2019-08-08
45814
3950,"John-Paul Jones
62,"https://cdn.criticdb.com/storage/v1/object/public/avatars/Outlets/Playstation-Universe-Logo.jpg","Playstation Universe","https://www.psu.com/","A classic arcade puzzler with gameplay compounded by a tremendous amount of scope for mastery and blistering retro aesthetics, Pix the Cat is one of the most essential pressure-puzzlers that you can buy on PlayStation right now.","https://www.psu.com/reviews/pix-the-cat-review-a-solid-contender-for-game-of-the-year/","2014-10-10","9",90
79751
5926,"Sean Colleli
59,"https://cdn.criticdb.com/storage/v1/object/public/avatars/Outlets/Gaming-Nexus-Logo.jpg","Gaming Nexus","https://gamingnexus.com/","Pix the Cat remixes classic arcade concepts into an addictive new concoction of high scores and vivid art and sound. Every time I said it would be my last go I would also drift to the restart button, and have another go. The art design is really good looking, and just jumps out of the screen in some cases. The music is very well composed too, adding to the overall atmosphere of the game. The only real problem is the small amount of lag from analog input on PS4, which costs time in a game where every second counts. Since the game is currently free on Plus it really is worth playing, though if you do miss the Plus promotion it is worth picking up if you’re looking for a modern day Pac Man or Snake, with better presentation.","https://www.thesixthaxis.com/2014/10/10/pix-the-cat-review/","9.0",6,0,[21,29],[26,29],[]]
