Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is Fatshark's first crack at the 40K universe after their successful Warhammer: Vermintide series. While the excellent combat mechanics transfer over well to the sci-fi/gothic setting, they are unfortunately surrounded by a litany of technical issues, shallow design choices, and an inconsequential story.
