Henry Halfhead
Henry Halfhead is a wonderfully original puzzle adventure whose inventive possession mechanic, charming story, and rewarding experimentation easily outweigh its occasional limitations.
Far more than just a retro throwback to the early SCUMM days, Thimbleweed Park is a great murder mystery with so many interesting story threads and oddball characters that you will gladly accept a little excessive backtracking to reach the very end for answers.
Caravan SandWitch is a calm, atmospheric journey that’s pleasant to play, but held back by repetitive tasks and a lack of momentum.
Thank Goodness You're Here! is an absolute triumph of comedy. It’s not a classic point-and-click adventure game, but every single aspect of this self-described “slapformer” combines to make it a genuinely funny game that will have you in stiches with its absurdity and cartoon-like atmosphere.
With a surprisingly deep story set in a dystopian world of diverse animal cartoon characters, BROK the InvestiGator successfully melds the arcade and adventure genres in a unique and extremely enjoyable way.
New Tales from the Borderlands has great production values that really pull you into this unique universe, yet the humour falls flat and the characters aren't at all compelling this time around, unable to cover up what’s lacking in actual gameplay, feeling more like an animated movie than a game.
It tells an interesting story that fans of Doctor Who should enjoy, though for non-devotees The Lonely Assassins may initially be a little confusing and its “found-phone” gameplay can become monotonous at times.
