There are actually two modes that could be considered the story mode in Naruto Revolution. The first of which is the Ninja World Tournament. The Ninja World Tournament has you play though a gigantic tournament featuring all the characters you’ve come to love from the Naruto universe. Each segment of the tournament is broken into ranks from D to S, and your ultimate goal to fight your way to the top. Once you pick a character and start however, you’ll have to stick to those particular guns all the way through. Switching characters midway through the tournament forces you to start from the bottom again. As you progress, you get opportunities to win other ninjas over and have them function as your teammates.

Bleu Cheese has always eluded me. I want to like it, I see the appeal, and people everywhere tell me it’s amazing. I have even tried it a hundred different ways, but every time I go back to it I always ask myself “Why am I eating this, it tastes like a sweaty feet?” Some games are kind of like that too…minus the sweaty foot part.  I was assigned review duties for Deception IV: Blood Ties and the absolute truth of it is that I tried my hardest to like this game, perhaps the hardest I’ve ever tried to like a game. Over the course of several days and several play sessions I would approach it again with fresh eyes, a fresh mind, and a renewed sense of purpose, but in the end, I had to admit defeat. I simply could not like it as much as I hoped. My tenacity wouldn’t allow for it and it’s a damned shame, because the idea for the game is bloody cool.

Electronic devices can be difficult to clean properly as they all have intricate little parts and buttons and switches. I learned that the hardest way possible when I blank-mindedly drooled all over my keyboard after reading a text that said “Wanna review Batman?” I wish I could say that it was regular drool, but it wasn’t. Nope, this drool was one of excitement as I am a Batman fan, and being able to review the latest game had me somewhat excited.  That and whole bags of Cheetos and half a case of Pepsi tend to create more of a syrupy substance than regular saliva. Regardless, I accepted my next review assignment without thinking twice.
