Darkest Dungeon 2 is a monster-slaying good time, as illustrated in our video review. After several years in production, the long development cycle proved to really benefit the final product. Specifically, the game’s combat and gameplay loop kept us coming back for more. We also admired Darkest Dungeon 2’s art style and diverse environments.
Evil Dead: The Game surprised me in every single way. It was more than I expected. The attention to detail in the characters, enemies, and environments. The Knowby cabin is outstanding and nearly a 1 for 1 replica. The finishers are beautiful, the environments eerie and creepy, the gameplay loop addictive, but most importantly it is fun. Boss Team Games & Saber Interactive should be hailed for their attention to detail to Evil Dead the Game. It is quite apparent a lot of love, time and care went into it. Even if you are not a fan of the films or have no clue what Evil Dead is, there is still plenty to enjoy here. If you are a fan of Evil Dead, Dead by Daylight, or other asymmetrical PvP games, it is imperative that you pick up Evil Dead: The Game. At a price point of $39.99 USD with cross-play across all platforms, you would be a fool not too. In the words of the Kandarian demon itself, “Join us!”
Pick a Riff plays more to letting the experts handle things. In this mode, players get to watch a scene and then choose a riff they think best fits the moment or makes it the most funny. There are around 2,000 riffs that can appear, but they don’t always fit the scene. Sometimes, the randomness involved in the supplied riffs makes it hard to do anything fun with the scene given.
He cited that the game's intuitive controls, its "great" 40K theme, dark and intriguing story, fun role-playing elements, progression system, and customization options were indeed part of the reason he arrived at that score. In terms of cons, he noted that the line of sight can occasionally be wonky, and there needs to be a better way of conveying status effects.
Tripwire Interactive has managed to capture what it feels like to be Jaws, right down to jumping out of the water, landing on a boat, and chomping away at the hunters on it. That in and of itself is a momentous achievement to accomplish. At 40 bucks ($39.99? Really?) for one of the most enjoyable games I’ve played in a long time means you have no excuse not to get this. I cannot applaud Tripwire Interactive enough for taking a risk with a new IP and a concept that we haven’t really gotten since Jaws Unleashed in 2006. If you were a fan of Jaws Unleashed or ever wanted to truly live out your apex predator shark fantasy, do yourself a favor and buy Maneater. While you're at it, tell your friends about Maneater. Spread the shark-loving goodness because this franchise has fins and I can't wait to see what's around the next coral reef. I can sum the game up in one word: Jawsome!
Final Fantasy 7 Remake is a masterpiece, a love letter to FF7 fans, an homage to one of the greatest games of all time. At its best it does everything the original did in 1997, revolutionizing the way video game stories can be told and reimaged. Square Enix has created a wonderful game full of characters, set pieces and stories for a whole new generation of players to follow the journey of Cloud Strife and his friends on a mission to save the world. Even though I personally didn’t care for the last hour or so of the game, I can’t deny the amazing effort Square Enix has put into Final Fantasy 7 Remake. It’s a fantastical, wonderful, magnificent experience for new and old gamers alike.

Plants vs Zombies: Battle for Neighborville takes the foundation of the Garden Warfare series and expands upon it. Whether you’re a fan of Garden Warfare, or new to the Plants vs Zombies series, there’s something for everyone in Battle for Neighborville.
I highly recommend Middle-earth: Shadow of War. It’s a fantastic game with a near flawless execution. The journey is enjoyable and the characters you help and hinder throughout the game make it an memorable experience. If you’re looking for a high quality, AAA single-player game, look no further than Shadow of War.
