Crushed in Time Reviews
Professional reviews from gaming critics
Looking at all of the evidence, I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that Crushed In Time is one of the best point-and-click adventure games, ever. I was blown away by the level of writing and humour, thrilled with how well implemented and thought out the pinch and stretch mechanic was, and left with a feeling that I had just finished the first entry in a beloved future franchise. Marvellously meta, wildly imaginative, and incredibly polished, Crushed In Time is a game that will stand the Beta test of time.
Crushed In Time is a clever puzzle adventure full of weird meta twists that spins out of a single genius mechanic.
Crushed in Time is a new adventure from developer Draw Me A Pixel exploring the metanarrative layer in game production.
Crushed In Time is a fun elasticated point & click adventure, taking Holmes and Watson on a journey through game development.
Crushed in Time is a fantastic concept for a classic adventure game, and modernises the genre wonderfully for the modern era.
Point & clicker Frietrick was picked from the editorial team to take a look at Crushed In Time. He tells us in the review whether it was worth his time.
Though not as groundbreaking as its predecessor, and with a gameplay mechanic that never quite justifies its prominence, Crushed In Time is still a funny, entertaining and wonderfully produced adventure through the bowels of game development alongside lovable cartoon versions of Holmes and Watson.
Crushed In Time, from developer Draw Me A Pixel, is a point-and-click puzzler that fully embodies the quirkiness,...
Crushed in Time is a fun puzzle game, with a fun story and great visuals. Many of the puzzles, built around the unique stretch-and-pull mechanic, are fun and cleverly designed, but that mechanic can start to feel gimmicky and lose its charm before too long. It’s unfortunate to say that the game just doesn’t quite live up to There is No Game, but it remains a fun puzzle game regardless.
Review: Crushed in Time is a funny and clever point and click adventure, where you'll be stretching rather than clicking.
