Overall I loved Disco Dodgeball Remix. This wacky FPS dodge ball game keeps the fun coming with various game modes, high intensity music, and extremely entertaining gameplay. Although the art style looks a bit childish, it works for this game. Disco Dodgeball is a great game, and if you pre-purchase the game in the Nintendo eshop you can get the game for 20% off!
Running around arenas and whipping balls at your opponents sounds like a good time. Thankfully, Disco Dodgeball Remix brings the goods so tune up your favourite bot and get ready for a thrilling online competition.
Multiplayer is where the mileage of this game is, and if you can get into this with friends, it can be glorious. Otherwise, it’s a really funny concept that might only hang around for a night or two of laughs. That’s totally fine, especially because the name Disco Dodgeball Remix is still humorous by its very existence.
Despite those small issues, I can see this game developing a strong core audience that will play it for quite some time to come. It’s simply too groovy, colourful, and cheerful to resist.

A dance soundtrack from a host of independent talents provides the background to all the dodgeball action, which, depending on your musical tastes, is either excruciating or brilliant. Or excruciatingly brilliant. Finally, the voiceover guy clearly loves monster trucks and, as he comments on kills, streaks and trick-shots with infectious enthusiasm, he almost manages to make the gameplay exciting.
