Welcome to Frankie's Parkour Palace, a place full of fun and excitement, at least it would be if everyone wasn't dead. In our latest horror game review, we look at Finding Frankie, a parkour horror game for the PS5. I had a good time taking on the numerous challenges.
Finding Frankie is a mostly fun parkour experience with interesting levels and enemies, but the clunky controls are hard to ignore in this movement-focused title, and the lack of horror won’t satisfy those looking for their next scare.
Finding Frankie has plenty of good ideas and charm, but it falls flat on execution in areas. Regardless, if you're interested in a new game to speedrun, look no further.
Inviting players to take part in a deadly parkour-based gameshow, Finding Frankie has an interesting premise and fun visuals. It's awfully short, though, and many of its mechanics are either underdeveloped or underused. It's disappointing that it doesn't quite fulfil its potential, but it has enough charm to see you through to the end.
A first-person parkour horror with woolly controls and frustrating chase sequences, Finding Frankie is a fairly torrid two hours. Do yourself a favour and chuck on your favourite horror film instead.
