Hyper Light Breaker is ambitious. It’s the first time Heart Machine is creating a multiplayer game and their unique approach to the rogue-lite genre is worth tracking. However, if they waited a little longer, and added more content, this early access launch would not have been so rough.
Hyper Light Breaker is a nice blend of fast-paced action and intriguing gameplay concepts. Its wide range of build options and brutal enemies, along with great graphics, keep things interesting.

Switching from 2D adventure to 3D loot-based shooter/slasher has changed the feel of the Hyper Light world significantly, and not – so far – for the better.
