Icarus is a truly beautiful experience. The environments – with all their glamor and dangers – are immersive and engaging. ICARUS is a sci-fi survival game, dropping you onto a planet to see how long you can last, but with some RPG mechanics alongside for you to earn experience, level up and unlock more stuff to build. This along with missions and a distinctly cowboy-sounding voice makes for a good survival game, but the levelling up really just gets in the way.
