Lost Eidolons really offers something unique. Those who prefer strategic role-playing games will find a lot to like in this game, while its many existing strengths make it one of the finest SRPGs of 2022.
Lost Eidolons is a new competitor in the tactical turn-based RPG, and it manages to capture what makes the genre great while adding its unique flavors. Lost Eidolons contains numerous brilliant mechanics, albeit with some minor setbacks, with the combat system taking the cake as its greatest strength.
Fire Emblem has surprisingly and unarguably become one of Nintendo’s biggest franchises. And for good reason. Its strategic gameplay is simple, yet has tons of depth and complexity. And it was doing relationships long before Persona 5 made it popular. With that level of popularity though comes plenty of imitations. A few maps are weirdly harsh, and you’d be unlikely to play them...
Lost Eidolons offers a great strategic experience with thorough gameplay systems and mechanics, though its presentation and narrative fall just a bit flat.
We tell you, it’s a good game! It’s not average! It might have some problems here and there, but you have to admit it is a “Good” game.
