Feel Free Games has done a really good job at marrying up many of our beloved cozy RPG elements. While there are a few things I’d love to see expanded upon, Luma Island is a treasure to behold, packed with content. And yet it seems there’s much to look forward to as well. I’ve had so much fun on Luma Island and will continue to do so for many hours yet. This is one of my top games for the year.
Luma Island is a nice and cosy game to play either alone or with friends, with plenty to do and discover. However, it can be very grindy, tedious, and doesn’t really provide much of a challenge.
Luma Island is a well designed simulation game filled with a variety of activities and puzzles, though the frequency and similarity of the puzzles can make the main story feel stagnant.
Luma Island is a no nonsense crafting game with lovely exploration, but everything starts to feel a bit samey after the first few hours.
