One of Namco's greatest series has returned with a remake of a Japanese GameCube game so let's join the Hori family and start drilling.
Pricing discrepancies aside though, Mr. DRILLER DrillLand is easy to recommend. It’s bright, bold and colourful, and most importantly, a lot of fun to play. It’s simple to get the hang of, but each separate game mode requires serious practice to truly master. If you enjoy the simple pleasures of a classic arcade-style game, you can’t go far wrong here.
This revamp of a GameCube-era classic is a worthy outing that delivers colorful, creative puzzle action.
Finally making its way out of Japan for the first time, Mr. Driller DrillLand is still the best entry in this niche puzzle franchise and fits right at home on the Nintendo Switch.
The presentation of Drill Land is incredibly cute, both in its visuals and its audio. Everything is round and clean, while the characters all look different and suited to their personalities while adhering to the game’s pleasant style. The music is upbeat and bubbly, and gets you in the mood to dig on whatever stage you play.
