Since my experience of trying out the preview of Open Country, a huge update took place and I revisited the game for a full review.
Filled with glitches, fallible logic and a list of problems as long as my arm, I absolutely cannot call Open Country a good game. But despite its rough edges, there’s something to be said about the freedom it provides players. Exploring the vast wilderness, being fully responsible for your own survival, can be exhilarating. Just don’t expect a polished experience, and you won’t be too disappointed.

I’m going to be upfront with this review and say that I didn’t finish Open Country, hell, I don’t think I even made it half way through. Not because I didn’t want the game or I didn’t have time to finish it. This is unfortunately due to the many issues I had with the title. I played it for close to nine hours and had nonstop issues and game breaking bugs.
