Seven years after being delisted in 2019, Telltale’s Poker Night at the Inventory is back! Lovingly remastered by Skunkape Games, this exclusive social club has reopened its doors for underground dealings. If you missed this game during its peak popularity back in 2010, now’s your chance to see what all the fuss is about.
After getting through its plan to remaster Telltale’s Sam and Max series, I was wondering what Skunkape Games could get up to next, if anything. Turns out there was something available I had completely forgotten about: Poker Night at the Inventory. An oddity even at the time, this simple, silly outing saw one of the most random assortment of IP crossovers you could think of simply sitting around a table for some Texas hold ‘em. Now it’s back, on multiple platforms, and with a few extra visual touch-ups and tweaks. And this time I actually bothered playing it.
Poker Night at the Inventory offers up a few laughs and a chance to reunite with some old friends over some poker. At times, it certainly shows its age (especially when it comes to its four main stars), but if you're looking to take a trip down memory lane, it's still worth checking out.
