This is an excellent light puzzle game that, while a single-player experience, is also something I’ve had fun playing with my kids, passing a controller around. Wilmot Works It Out rules, and runs well on both Switch and Switch 2.

Wilmot Works It Out is a brand-new chill-out puzzle game with tons of puzzles to solve, plus a challenging-yet-fun marathon mode that will keep you busy for a while. Plus, you get to display your finished puzzles throughout a house that you can customize.

To my mind, it’s not even that Wilmot Works It Out ‘doesn’t live up to its predecessor’. I just think it’s a different game that explores different mechanics. And that’s fine - good, even. Developers should be free to explore different parts of games that interest them rather than feeling beholden to previous successes.
