In Wheel World, despite a few speed bumps, Messhof’s first foray into 3D is a triumph. Join Kat in her quest to help Skully reconstruct the Legendary Bike, allowing them to perform The Great Shift. Explore the world at your leisure, scour the island for treasure and take on the world’s “gangs” to become the ultimate racer. You’ll have a great time whatever you do.

Planet of Lana
8.5

Planet of Lana has an interesting set up & is a pleasant journey travelling with Lana and her companion. The game has an incredible soundtrack as you move across a beautiful world besieged by an alien force. The puzzles and set pieces are good and the environmental storytelling is well done. Lana’s world is well worth visiting.

FAR: Lone Sails

Okomotive’s FAR: Lone Sails is a poignant journey of one person’s pilgrimage through a desolate world. Will they make it through? Taking care of your locomotive is one of the highlights of a short experience, which has beautiful backdrops and great music. With the stop/start nature of progression, can a great mechanic make a game special, or does there need to be something more tangible? It is a pleasant but ultimately fleeting experience.

Viewfinder is an inventive puzzle game allowing you to change your environment to create something new. There are enjoyable puzzles and innovative set pieces which enhance your enjoyment. One world is a steep learning curve which dents an otherwise pleasant journey which has excellent presentation. The story has great art design and voice work, where the games mechanic is great to see in action.

Fullbright explore human relationships while under corporate ownership. Investigate Tacoma through a recording gameplay device which invites exploration..... with very little else involved. Excellent voice acting enhances your audible avatars; however, your connection to the cast will determine whether this is a worthwhile journey, which will naturally be subjective.

Yoku's Island Express is an enjoyable experience from the moment you step foot on the island. The combination of gameplay styles makes for a unique experience. Coupled with its’ relaxing tone and brilliant presentation, it is a real joy to explore Mokumana. There are a few niggles but in terms of enjoyment, Yoku sticks the landing.

Lara Croft GO was created for a mobile audience willing to play intermittently. Being ported to consoles, is there enough here to satisfy a stationery audience as well? For those looking for a breezy experience, mission accomplished. For those looking for something more, it's still a decent weekend experience.
