Resident Evil has been on a hot streak with 7 and the remakes of the second and third games. Village is out now, and the bar is set mighty high. With the franchise having a wide range that it offers its fans, from more action-oriented entries to more horror-focused, which will this fall into? Also, how will it stack up to the recent top-notch entries?
Yet another ground-up remake of a classic game, but our review of Mafia: Definitive Edition, shows that it does not just fall in line with the current trend. Hangar 13 comes back to the roots of its series with a heavy emphasis on a linear, compelling story about a man going from a poor cab driver to a ruthless, successful mobster.
Carrion has some frustrating and tasteless flaws, but it is an enjoyable horror indie title. Go around in this reversed horror game where you are the alien and eat up all of those tasty humans.
