You’re asked to solve issues and improve possessions with cleverly intentional mechanics, but even these become frustrating to find joy in as exploration failings bleed into them. If not for the spikes and awkward pacing shift, Pacific Drive would have knocked it out of the park until the end.
To be clear, it’s still an enjoyable game whenever focused on the immersive appeal that comes with being a Na’vi, but it’s hard not to acknowledge the areas where it suffers and fails to knock out what makes the world of Pandora tempting to travel beyond its untamed sights.
In Eternal Threads, you'll care about bringing closure to characters' stressful circumstances because of emotional scenes and get sucked into the mysterious secrets they all hide from each other. Yet unfortunately, I have some gripes with the game that knocks the gameplay down to a dull experience after the first hour and a few design choices that missed the mark and broke my immersion.
