In the end, it feels like Roach and Randolph made this film to preach to a choir that already have their minds made up, who'll revel at the mocking of Fox News as a propaganda machine for bigotry, cringe at the depictions of sexual harassment that's news to them, and go home smugly satisfied that it only took a few decades of abuse and a small army of women to bring down one serial sexual predator with a golden parachute. But as to the damage done to these women or the unnerving fact that this problem isn't limited to Fox News, Bombshell offers nothing. Instead, Roach cuts to the credits and a rousing "you go girl" anthem as if sexism is solved forever. It's either patronizing or outrageously obtuse, but either way, it's a disservice to these women’s stories.
