The octopus is one of the most fascinating creatures on our planet. Masters of camouflage, these invertebrates can hide from even the most blood-thirsty of predators. Their intelligence is undeniable, being able to escape captivity in frequently surprising ways. So how would a cephalopod manage in an environment other than Earth? Darwin’s Paradox! from ZDT Studio and Konami presents us with this very conundrum.

How far would you go to create art for the world? Where would you draw the line between creating what speaks to your soul and producing what the consumer wants? For those in the creative space, is there even a line that can be upheld between the two and still offer some semblance of gratification? These are the questions Project Songbird from solo developer, Connor Rush of FYRE Games, asks us to ponder. The bigger question is whether or not his message manages to resonate in its execution.

Planet of Lana was a surprising game for me that I definitely didn’t expect to enjoy as much as I did. While I didn’t review it, I played it later on and really fell in love with its world and characters. The way Wishfully was able to display character emotions with simple character models was fantastic. While I didn’t think it quite lived up to some of my other favorite 2D/2.5D puzzle platformers like Ori and the Blind Forest, Little Nightmares II, or Unravel Two, it was still a great...

Another year, another Just Dance, but honestly, I couldn’t be happier about it. The franchise has proven time and time again to be an excellent and fun way to burn calories and have fun, without feeling like a tedious workout. With the holidays around the corner, what better time to dive into something that will help us look our best for the upcoming festivities? Ubisoft’s Just Dance 2026 Edition boasts improved controls and motion tracking technology, so let’s hop in and see how it st...

Well, it’s been a couple of years, so naturally, that means it’s time for another Agatha Christie game! I’ve played nearly every Agatha Christie entry released within the past few years, such as The London Case, The First Cases, and The ABC Murders, with many of them being hit-or-miss (mostly miss). Still, as a lifelong, avid fan of Agatha Christie, I  can never say “no” when another entry is presented. This time around, we have Agatha Christie – Death on the Nile, once again fro...

When Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga first debuted in 2016, it quickly became a global phenomenon, resulting in twenty-three collected volumes, an anime adaptation in 2019, and even a couple of video game entries, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles, in 2022 and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Sweep the Board! in 2024. Now we have the release of yet another video adaptation, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2, as well as the highly ant...

Have you ever wondered how your life might have been different if you had only made other choices? If you’d agreed to go out with the weirdo in high school, would you have ended up marrying your current spouse? If you hadn’t taken a chance on moving to a new area, would you have stayed in touch with your old friends? What if you had decided to stick with that same dead-end job instead of going back to school? How vastly different would your life have been if you’d made other decisions a...

Walking simulators might be a dime a dozen, but I have an appreciation for those who try to offer something different to the experience. Games like What Remains of Edith Finch , Layers of Fear, and The Stanley Parable being some of the most noteworthy examples of successful walking sims. When I found out there was a walking sim based off of George Orwell’s 1984, I knew I couldn’t pass it up. KARMA: The Dark World, the first game from Chinese indie developer Pollard Studio, has finally ar...

I played Spirit of the North back when it first released in 2019. I had said at that time that I might go back and replay it to obtain all the shaman staffs to see if it unlocked a different ending, but I never did revisit it. While I had enjoyed the game, its myriad of bugs and frustrating controls deterred me from returning to it. Although, I did like the game and respected Infuse Studio set out to do with it, so I was pleasantly surprised when I heard of a sequel in the works. I’m thril...
