Overall Fate/EXTELLA LINK improves on the first game with more characters, more things to unlock and solid combat. The story was great although I wish there was more of it. The cutscenes this time are done with hand-drawn 2D characters that remind more of a visual novel type game with some great voice acting. If you’re a fan of the Fate series and especially if you’re a fan of the Extella alternate reality than this game is worth picking up for you. At $49.99 it can be a hefty price with ...
Overall Jump Force does several things well, but where it falls short it is noticeable. If you’re a big fan of the various Jump Shonen franchises than this is a fun ride for you, if you’re looking for an online fighting game, look elsewhere. Having your custom character fight side on the same team as Luffy from One Piece or Midoriya from My Hero Academy is great. The characters from their shows are done very well and look great. Customizing of your character is well done and gives you som...
Overall The Hong Kong Massacre is a fun game that definitely delivers in the feel of those Hong Kong action movies. But input lag with controls and repetitive levels take away from it. More weapons or weapon choices that actually seemed to matter would’ve helped the game as well. If you like this type of game, in this setting and don’t mind a few issues it’s worth the buy at its budget price.
On their own, each of the above could make for a decent game, but combined they make a whole which brings home the feeling of what the Yakuza series is. Sprinkle that with incredible voice acting and a rocking soundtrack that really kicks it into high gear during fight scenes and you have the perfect entry to the Yakuza series on PC for anyone who is curious about it. All that said, there were some bugs at launch with sound framerate. While these can be fixed by a simple edit, it’s st...
House Flipper may not be the usual game you would expect, but games, in general, have evolved greatly over the last decade, to say the least. It is a niche title, but it can be a very fun game if you don't mind spending hours remaking houses and decorating them to your heart's content. It's not without its bugs and oddities which the developer is consistently working on, like not being able to build walls on any floors above or below the first floor, but overall House Flipper is a fun game if...
After the combat, the multiplayer and the story are the next big thing in the game. You can play offline and not encounter anyone, just going through the story of Absolver to fin d your place in the world. Or set it to online and see what happens. You can also change it to invite only so it’s just you and your friends playing. For me it was a mixed bag. A few times I had some more skilled players pop into my world and come for me with no other purpose than my destruction and at other times ...
