Industria lacks polish and isn't very long, but it's a well-made, interesting first-person shooter created with some clear talent.

INDUSTRIA delivers a solid 2-hour adventure with mysteries, profound moments, and satisfying combat encounters. Many may feel the ending leaves a hollow feeling of uncertainty but others may enjoy the challenge of figuring out what happened. It's expensive and short but worth playing.

In an age where every seemingly every game demands your attention for countless hours, Industria comes as a welcomed surprise. A well-crafted package that, despite some flaws, never truly comes off the rails. The plot and solid gameplay carry the experience neatly towards the closing act. Whether or not the climax of the story will be good or not falls more into perspective and how much you value the idea of the unknown.

With a patch or two, Industria could be a game well worth investing in now that it’s available on consoles as well as PC. But at the moment, some frustrating issues mean only the most patient players might see it through, even through it’s not particularly long. Exploring a bleak parallel world is intriguing for sure, but when the controls feel like they’re fighting against you and the save system is overly punishing, much of your drive to proceed is lost.

Industria is rough around the edges, but its solid world, world-building, and storytelling are still worth experiencing.
