Wet Dreams Dry Twice introduces two game mechanics that aid newbie adventurers considerably. The first is a to-do list app on Larry's smart phone, which keeps track of the player's current goals. The second is a blueprint app, which allows the player to manage more complicated builds requiring multiple inventory objects. Both of these features help guide inexperienced gamers in what they should look for while trying to accomplish tasks like building a raft, by giving them a rough idea of what components they should look for. Wet Dreams Dry Twice is a solid sequel to 2018’s entry. Some unfortunate polish issues and inconsistent puzzle difficulty stop it being great. Larry is the same oblivious, sexist, backwards thinking womaniser he’s always been but this adventure might help him grow… might!

Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Dry Twice tries its best to keep the lewdness of its titular character intact, but ultimately falls flat on the delivery. It’s great fun as a point-and-click game, though, and—coupled with stellar voice acting, vibrant graphics, and a compelling protagonist—is a breath of fresh air from the seriousness of the world today.
