Little King's Story
"Initially released for Wii to rave reviews, this cult classic real-time strategy game juxtaposes cutesy fairytale visuals with some decidedly adult cynicism for a zany, irreverent adventure to build, enhance, and maintain a mystical, magical kingdom. Making its way to PC for the first time, this edition of the game remains faithful to the Wii orig...

Professional reviews from gaming critics
Little King’s Story is a prime example of how a game can be cute and colorful, yet still challenging and fulfilling. With all that this game has to offer, there is sure to be something here for all types of gamers of any skill level. No Wii owner should overlook this fantastic and unique experience.
Little King’s Story misses the boat in a few key areas for me personally – the largest of which is the lack of IR pointing in a game specifically based around real-time strategy elements – but at the end of the day there’s no denying that this title has serious staying power, an immense amount of charm, and is downright fun despite its faults. Yasuhira Wada of Harvest Moon fame is back with a series that – while still very early – has the makings of being just as big, if not even bigger, than his most well-known franchise. Perhaps that is the game’s greatest strength. In the wake of creating a game that exists in a genre often characterised by being heavy with dense and complicated systems, Little King’s Story breaks things down without letting them become too distant. While it may not feel as special as it once did, mainly thanks to the lack of licensed clutter that plagued the Wii in those days, Little King’s Story is just as fun as it was in the last...
As king, players will manage and involve their townspeople in the goals of creating a new territory. He will enlist them to dig for treasure, build new buildings and otherwise better their community. Players must try to conquer rival nations to create a single, unified kingdom. The game transforms the Wii Remote into a royal scepter and offers players the chance to be the best king in the world!
If you've never played Little King's Story before and don't have access to a Wii, then picking up this new remastered PC version is definitely recommended. However, not much has been added or altered to really entice owners of the Wii version to consider upgrading to this one.
Probably the most disheartening remake I've ever playedLittle King's Story is one of my favorite Wii games, so when it was announced that the Vita [...]
