Sheepo has a charming aesthetic, tight gameplay, and an excellently balanced level of difficulty. It's short but the length feels just right all the same.
I enjoyed my time with Sheepo, at US$9.99 it is perfectly priced for its length and executes all it sets out to achieve. If you are feeling burnt out by the endless hours in modern AAA releases and are looking for a palette cleanser this is a great experience to boot up, put on your headphones and vibe out while you explore and interact with the world of Cebrom. This game is great for families to complete with their children and experience together, anyone who enjoys a quirky story with an interesting gameplay hook or fans of the Metroidvania genre.
Explore lovely, surrealistic worlds as you conserve the species by becoming the species! Sheep is certainly one of the most .. unusual games of recent years, and while the actual shepherding is rather repetitive, there is usually enough going on to keep you interested and amused. The constant changes in scenery and obstacles also help to lift the tedium of endlessly chasing sheep around brighly coloured mazes, and while the game is best handled in small doses it is addictive enough to keep you coming back for more. If you're looking for something ...
Sheepo is a charming game, although its lack of variety in environments means it might outstay its welcome as the end draws near. Its gameplay is enjoyable and easy to pick up, however, and the fact there’s no combat makes this a great starting point for anyone new to the Medtroidvania genre. If you’re looking for a quirky adventure, Sheepo is worth picking up, but just don’t expect too much substance.
