Zwei: The Ilvard Insurrection Reviews
Professional reviews from gaming critics
On its own, though, Zwei is still a beautifully crafted game and an addictive dungeon crawler. If you’re looking for something a bit more light-hearted to dive into after the more serious big releases coming out this time of year, this game would be right up your alley.

Zwei: The Ilvard Insurrection is an action RPG that tells the tale of a brash treasure hunter and loveable vampire. Join Ragna and Alwen on their journey to set the world of Ilvard right. Many dungeons await, and players need to harness both heroes abilities to vanquish the forces of evil. Food is more important than ever because it not only recovers HP, but it also gives the player experience points, so gobble up some your favorite dishes and get ready to enter the zany and beautiful world of Ilvard.
This Hallowe'en, team up with a cute vampire to recapture her castle from a little girl and an obnoxious bat-cat.
With a bit of touching up, Zwei:The Ilvard Insurrection looks good for a game that came out almost a decade ago. With a great combat system that is supported by a good deal of lighthearted storytelling, this is an action RPG that people who have enjoyed games brought on by Nihon Falcom’s recent rise in prominence in the west shouldn’t miss out.
