Onimusha: Way of the Sword revives a long-dormant franchise that's been out of commission for two decades. In a triumphant return, it blazes onto the scene with deliberate, exciting combat and a gorgeous, immersive, and authentic Japanese setting.

Star Wars Zero Company

4/5

Brigandine has returned with its newest entry, Adglobe's Brigandine: Abyss. There are some janky mechanics still present, but can its unique brand of tactical gameplay still capture the hearts of RPGamers?

Beast of Reincarnation
3.5/5

Beast of Reincarnation's greatest strength is its sense of exploration, with excellent traversal and a beautifully atmospheric world. Although its story and technical issues prevent it from reaching greater heights, Game Freak delivers a solid action RPG with plenty of potential.

Culdcept Begins
3/5

Culdcept Begins offers a vibrant hybrid of board game and monster-battling concepts, but it struggles to find its own identity. Its shallow narrative and over-reliance on randomness prevent it from standing out.

3.5/5

This leaves Cassette Boy as a brilliant concept held in a flawed shell. The perspective-based puzzle mechanics are clever and well-explored, providing a real sense of satisfaction as when those solutions click and the full potential of snapping objects in and out of existence is realized.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight offers a celebration of over 80 years of Batman history. While its ambition may not be fully realised with a few technical hiccups, it feels like the title is appropriate in all the ways that matter.

The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales transforms HD-2D into a fast, rewarding action-adventure game. It trades the calmer pace of traditional HD-2D RPGs for a more energetic experience without sacrificing atmosphere or charm.

Although much of the creative personnel is different, ZA/UM persists and has released new title Zero Parades: For Dead Spies. The narrative espionage RPG comes with some strong world-building and mysteries to uncover.
