Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound is a new 2D action platformer in Koei Tecmo’s traditional franchise that has been around since the 1980s. Trying to blend the traditional style of the 2D games in the series with the fast-paced action and intense challenge that the 3D versions of the series have come to be known for, the title is a notable and compelling experience from developer The Game Kitchen and publisher Dotemu.
Edens Zero is an action RPG based on Hiro Mashima’s series of the same name. While the original manga ran in Weekly Shōnen Magazine from 2018 to 2024, this is its first console adaption. With Konami at the helm, the experience shows solid fundamentals, but lets down on one specific point that’s dear to RPG fans.
Patapon 1+2 Replay brings back the classic series from Sony, now licensed to Bandai Namco so that it can be published on systems beyond the PlayStation family. The new pack includes the original game and its sequel with various quality-of-life additions for a new generation.
Tron: Catalyst is the latest title by Bithell Games, the studio created by Mike Bithell of Thomas was Alone fame. While the developer had previously entered the world of Disney’s Tron with a text adventure experience that mixed a visual novel format and puzzles, this time they have created a 3D action adventure game.
