Rushing Beat X: Return of Brawl Brothers can be an absolute joy to play when everything comes together. Unfortunately, that often doesn't happen due to the game's lack of polish and features that other beat 'em ups have. The clunky gameplay can also be another barrier in what could have been a great action game.
Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf is an auditory and visual masterpiece. The clash of machine and nature may be an old trope, but it results in a beautiful aesthetic and soundscape. As for the gameplay, the puzzle-solving is passable, but the lack of replayability may turn some away.
Mewgenics is an incredibly ambitious project for a small development team. Fortunately, it more than delivers. This is a must-buy for roguelite fans.
