Strange Brigade
7.5/10

Strange Brigade is a solid third-person shooter that doesn't bring anything fresh to the genre besides its charming, over-the-top campiness which makes the game shine and not take itself too seriously. The gameplay is nothing new, but everything is executed seamlessly, and the game is relatively quite enjoyable minus a few frustrating hordes of inconvenient undead. Rebellion has provided an enjoyable game that is well-done, especially for fans of third-person shooters, but many players will have fun playing with friends.

8/10

Semblance is a unique platformer whose minimalistic environment is the perfect background to the satisfyingly challenging puzzles that must be solved in order to save the adorable Squish's world. It's relaxing, aesthetically pleasing, and gradually increases its difficulty in a way that is fresh each time and does not get repetitive. While the controls of the game and the maneuvering of Squish can be a bit awkward at times, overall it is a very pleasant experience. As the debut game of developer Nyamakop, this only makes me really excited to see what they will do next and what other unique games they will create.

FAR: Lone Sails
7.5/10

FAR: Lone Sails has quite a few awards and it is easy to see why during gameplay. Okomotive has done a beautiful job with their debut game of weaving together simple a simple story and gameplay with gorgeous visuals and soundtrack. If you're looking for a post-apocalyptic survival game with lots of zombies to kill, this won't be it. However, if a nice little journey over a dried-up seabed with a beautiful soundtrack is what you're looking for, then you'll enjoy FAR: Lone Sails' trip.
