Professional reviews from gaming critics
The Sims 4 Seasons is quite frankly the best expansion to come out yet. There are tons of new items, but what sets it apart are the ways it changes the game. It adds so many new activities and things to do and wonderful holidays, it honestly made me feel like this is the first must have expansion for The Sims 4.
One of the best Sims 4 expansions packs so far, Seasons changes everything for your sim families with friendly bees, sinister gnomes and a chance to chat up Father Winter.
While on the one hand, it's undeniable that The Sims 4: Seasons offers numerous activities, distinctive festivals for each season and new professions/careers, it's an expansion that, in light of its price, doesn't offer enough content to justify an immediate purchase. It's fun and allows you to play with the mood of your Sims more significantly, but its current pricing could well persuade fans of the series to wait for a price drop before adding it to their collection.
Overall The Sims 4: Seasons expansion provides an entirely new experience for players and will give them another reason to revisit their Sims. I enjoyed how it changed up the daily lives of my Sims and how the holidays broke up their sometimes monotonous lives. Even though I had a serious binge while trying out the new expansion, I'm sure there are many more surprises to be found.
