There is a fantastic depth to every last detail this game and it also includes a multiplayer mode allowing you to combine your alien smashing wiles with a friend. Dungeon of the Endless is meant to be played like a game of chess. You assess your environment in line with your resources, you intelligently plan your attacks well in advance and every move you make should be part of a big picture strategy. It’s polished and well put together and I have no hesitation in recommending it to fans of the tower defence genre and newcomers alike.
Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide is an excellent game which is slickly produced, well thought out and great fun to play. It has something for casual and hardcore gamers alike and delivers an exciting teamplay experience with depth and longevity. According to the Chinese Zodiac, the next year of the Rat isn’t until 2020 but with this game available now, why wait?
All in all, Galak-Z is an exciting new take on an old genre. It modernises the classic 2D shooter experience and pays homage to some much loved Japanese anime sci-fi in the process. Whilst it might prove too difficult and frustrating for some, there’s no denying that for those with enough patience and determination, it’s loads of fun to play.
