It might not be enough, of course, to sway players who weren't pulled in the first time around. Frankly, if it didn't interest you then, it might not now either. Of course, they'd be ignoring a trend-setting, rounded and entertaining adventure game. Given the lower price and upped quality of presentation, what was already a great experience is that much better now – so get behind the original Beyond Good & Evil and see what you (probably) missed out on.
Look, here comes the hyperbole; you'll have to excuse us on this one, but Red Dead Redemption surely deserves heaped praise: this is a momentous gaming experience; one that marries artistry with supreme design rarely seen. If there's a textbook on how to be referent to a classic genre while always pressing forward, Red Dead Redemption is the byline. Wonderful.
This is currently the premier shooter on the PS3 - but that's not saying a whole lot right now. It's definitely not breaking fresh ground in any one area, apart from some excellent multiplayer facilities, but in lieu of Killzone 2, we'd take a sequel to Resistance: Fall of Man any day of the week. Is it worth the price of PS3 admission? Well, that depends on how much you love your shooters. But when you factor in MotorStorm too, these might just hold enough clout to sway your wallet towards the cashier. What do you think of Resistance: Fall of Man?
