Most of what Halo: Campaign Evolved does on a technical level is refine, not replace. And while the core gameplay is great, most of that already existed back in 2001.
Moss: The Forgotten Relic does a great job bringing two wonderful adventures to more players. It has a beautiful world and story with puzzles and action that are always rewarding.
Bluey's Quest for the Gold Pen is filled with the same charm you'd expect from its source material while providing a great jumping off point for less experienced players.
Mina the Hollower proves that time, effort, and attention to detail go a long way. Mina is a great new hero who controls incredibly well in a difficult but rewarding 2D adventure.
Its over-the-top approach to almost everything it offers you can feel overwhelming, but there's no denying just how fun it is to play! Dashing through stages that last mere moments is such a blast that I had a hard time putting down my Switch. It's a breath of fresh air to play a game that has something to say, but presents it in a style that we almost never see or hear anymore. Mullet MadJack is a wild ride and one that almost every FPS fan should play.
Planet of Lana 2 is a gorgeous sequel that does all the right things with its puzzles and story, building a rich history with complex layers and characters.
Scott Pilgrim EX is a wild ride that’s taking a new approach to how we play through beat ’em ups. The roster of fighters stands out as one of the best in recent memory and provides a ton of great variety, while the wild and wacky depiction of Toronto and alternate dimensions looks fantastic!
It's often hard to iterate and improve on a genre that's been around for decades, but Marvel Cosmic Invasion makes the most of that opportunity. It might feel like you've done this song and dance before, but with a deep and otherworldly story, a great cast of characters, and excellent visuals and music, it's an absolute blast to play.
GIGASWORD is a difficult retro action-platformer. It won't hold your hand, and it requires focus. But the journey is a rewarding one, built on a strong foundation of lore and hard-hitting action.
ARC Raiders is built on a strong, engaging extraction shooter platform, with impactful weapons and teamwork. Though the inventory and loot system can be very overwhelming, the core gameplay loop is a blast.
