Despite early pacing issues, Life Is Strange: Reunion delivers the perfect final chapter for Max and Chloe, thanks to strong writing and excellent performances, and all long-time fans should play it.
Samson’s hard-hitting combat and slimmed down scale help it stand out against much bigger budget competition. It proves that sometimes having limitations is a good thing. If you miss the kind of action game that is more concerned with delivering a fun, hard-hitting experience than chasing endless scale, Samson is absolutely worth your time.
Despite a few minor issues, Crimson Desert sets a new benchmark for this style of open-world experience, one that will be extremely difficult for future games to match.
WWE 2K26 may not reinvent the series, but it refines it in ways that matter, resulting in one of the strongest entries the franchise has delivered in years. Smarter AI, improved weapon interactions, and new match types make the in-ring action more engaging than it has been in years.
God of War: Sons of Sparta is a very good video game, with strong visuals, excellent music, and simple yet effective gameplay driving an ultimately interesting story. However, as a God of War title, it is held back from true greatness by early pacing issues and a presentation style that feels somewhat tone-deaf to the rest of the series.
There is definitely fun to be had in Highguard, especially with a group of friends but as it stands I wouldn’t bet on it become the new Apex of the genre because it’s nowhere near that level.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is everything you could wish for from an action RPG, with a heavy focus on systems that lean in to support the way you want to play. Not only is Kingdom Come: Deliverance II a brilliant sequel, but it’s a genre-defining game that pushes an otherwise stagnant genre forward for the first time in a decade.
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 7 is what we have come to expect from the franchise for better and worse. It just doesn’t do enough to set itself apart and recommend at full price, unless you specifically want the game for zombie mode.
In almost every aspect The Outer Worlds 2 is an improvement over its predecessor. However, been the rather bland and dare I say boring main quest, combined with the fact this game offers very little new to the genre by way of mechanics. It would be hard to say that The Outer Worlds 2 is anything more than a good, yet uninspired RPG. One that is harder to recommend given the stiff competition in the RPG genre and sub-genres here in 2025.
Battlefield 6 is a true return to form for this beloved franchise, with improved gameplay, a substancial multiplayer offering and a fantastic (albeit short) single-player campaign. This game will be looked back on as a classic in the same way we look back on Battlefield 3 & 4 today.
