It’d be fair to say that I’ve got a bit of a weird relationship with the Monster Hunter franchise. My first entry into the series, World, was also the first time I’d reviewed one of these games. If you were to throw the world of Monster Hunter into a blender with a dash of Pokémon and a splash of Final Fantasy then the end result would be a tall, refreshing glass of Monster Hunter Stories 2 Wings of Ruin.
