Not for a long time has a game managed to draw me into the world and the lore in the same way as Horizon Zero Dawn. Guerrilla’s perfect execution, attention to detail and imagination shines through in every aspect of this stunning title; from the attention to visual detail, to the deep lore and flowing controls and combat. Horizon Zero Dawn is a defining game for 2017 which is made all the more impressive by it’s origin as a brand new IP.

Watch Dogs, despite personally enjoying it a lot; stumbled out the gate as a release of a new franchise and now we have Watch Dogs 2! New setting, new characters, new protagonist, new villain, new ctOS, new everything! But is it enough to revitalise the public’s interest in the series? Have Ubisoft managed to redeem themselves with this new look into the world of surveillance and privacy invasion we live in?

The Bioshock series, for me, was one of the defining franchises of the last console generation. With an absolutely sublime narrative, fun and intuitive gameplay, and a couple of large scoops of daddy issues; it has always come highly recommended. But how has it aged? Does it still hold up in an such a fast moving industry and is the remastering worth your money? I mean, well that last one is pretty easy: 3 stellar games, for around $70 is a pretty easy sell. But are they worth playing again?...

ReCore started out as a game I always thought the Xbox was missing from its repertoire. A solid, fun and engaging 3D platformer for the younger generation or those of us from the 80s and 90s with some hardcore nostalgia goggles for games like Super Mario 64, Banjo Kazooie and Ratchet & Clank.
