Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising struggles mightily to match what makes Cobra Kai so appealing, largely because of how poorly the game itself actually performs. I was really hoping to get more out of my time with the game, and I hope future patches can help improve playability. Even if the bugs get squashed, a lack of innovative choices or new stories will still make Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising a disappointing release that couldn’t live up to its potential.
A fairly fun action game up that is full to the brim with annoying bugs. Fans of the show and beat 'em ups must approach with caution. Everyone else should just stay clear for now.
100% unacceptable. Glitches and game breaking bugs left and right. This game should have never been allowed to be released in this state. It's a shame really, because while the first game wasn't amazing, it was decent for what it was. Cobra Kai 2 is a complete failure at almost every level. Stay far far far away from this game.
All of just a couple years ago, Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues graced home consoles to go along with the success of the Netflix series. While the game had a couple hiccups, it was a pretty solid beat ‘em up, so a sequel should have been everything the original was plus more. If Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising could expand on everything that the original game did, this would end up being potentially one of the best beat ‘em up games of the year.
