Despite a few glaring faults, EvilVEvil still provides a fun, addictive gameplay loop that can be enjoyed alone or with friends. Don't expect AAA polish and you'll have a great time with this vampiric shooter.

EvilVEvil is on a thin line between playable and unplayable but leans more on the playable side for me. With good controls and acceptable performance, you can still enjoy this one on the go if you can overlook some frame drops.

EvilVEvil might be a competent shooter in some aspects, but its shallow progression and bland graphics hold it back from truly shining.

The gameplay does grow on you a little bit, from a quite frankly shallow start, but it doesn’t go to the heights that it could reach. Gunplay is fun but at the service of bland core mechanics that get tiresome quickly, and the abilities are very slim and don’t add much in terms of diversity to the package. As far as co-op shooters go, EvilVEvil is serviceable but the bite doesn’t leave much of a lasting impression.

Despite a solid shooter experience, EvilVEvil struggles to deliver a meaningful or engaging story. Some polish on existing systems and a better narrative moving forward could help elevate this co-op shooter to new heights.

EvilVEvil has strong co-op FPS foundations but never builds anything worth mentioning. Its cluttered combat, predictable narrative, and bloated mechanics make this a shallow and forgettable experience.
