Fate/Samurai Remnant

Fate/Samurai Remnant is the best game in the franchise. It's a perfect blend of Fate worldbuilding and faithfulness to the Edo-period Japanese setting. It's also an incredible next step for Omega Force, and delivers one of the most addictive and engaging action-adventure experiences I've had in ages.

Fate/Samurai Remnant is an incredibly impressive game with lots to offer both Fate and Musou fans. While it has its drawbacks, it still sports a compelling narrative, incredibly fun gameplay, great lore, and much more.

Fate/Samurai Remnant is a great palate cleanser after all the massive games of 2023. Fans of either the Fate series or Musou games shouldn't hesitate to check this one out.

The Holy Grail War kicks off what I hope to be a continuing run for the Fate franchise. Fate/Samurai Remnant tells a good story with plenty of well-written characters and twists and turns. Its combat is simplistic but manages to keep you going for a fairly long duration. I hope this is the first step of great things to come for this unique franchise.

It's been a while but we now have a new Fate game and Fate/Samurai Remnant is quite a spectacle with both its setting and combat.

There is much to learn in Fate/Samurai Remnant but the characters and gameplay loop make it worth the work.

Fate/Samurai Remnant takes advantage of a new, grounded setting, a fresh cast of characters, and a gripping narrative to serve as both an approachable gateway to Fate for newbies and a potent fan service vehicle for veterans.

Fate/Samurai Remnant is a fantastic Musou game that adds more layers and mechanics to what it means to be a Musou game. It also has a story highly reminiscent of the other action-based Fate Series anime.

There’s a lot to like in Fate/Samurai Remnant for Fate fans, or those who simply enjoy action RPGs in general. The story is meaty, and with multiple endings as well as a New Game Plus mode available, some may even jump in for another playthrough or two. Fate/Samurai Remnant is an enjoyable entry in the Fate universe. Its heavy emphasis on storytelling may be longwinded at times, but it does lead to a more interesting experience. The Fate series gets a new action RPG, this one handled by the Musou studio itself, Omega Force. While Fate/Samurai Remnant provides an interest new setting and tale for the series, its gameplay doesn't quite fully commit.
