Final Fantasy VII Rebirth evoked all kinds of emotions in me, made me see my low-poly childhood friends as real people, and allowed me to once again be part of a grandiose, fate-challenging, god-defying adventure that I haven't experienced since the PS1 days.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth carries on the torch from Remake and delivers another incredible experience. The world of FFVII comes alive as you venture across it with Cloud and his party. Watching the story of Final Fantasy VII with gorgeous graphics and fantastic acting elevates the entire experience. This is a must play for Final Fantasy fans.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is everything I loved about Final Fantasy 7 Remake with more polish, refinement, and depth. It's a stunning achievement. While I won’t ruin any of the major story beats here, this game is going to have fans talking for a long time. The story is full of twists and turns for longtime fans and newcomers alike. If you haven’t played Remake, I would strongly suggest playing that game first, as it really props up the story of Rebirth. If you have played Remake, then buckle up for what is sure to be one of the best games you’ll play in 2024.

When Final Fantasy VII was released 22 years ago, I was a small child and needless to say I did not understand its impact and influence in the gaming world. However, the game had always been around in my life, from playing with older friends on the PS One as a scrawny little kid, to watching Last Order and Advent Children as a teenager, and finally to buying myself the PSP release of Crisis Core in the late 2000s. It was the game that changed my life, and also the game that made me realize you can fall in love with video game characters (Zack Fair, I’m looking at you).
