Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3: V Generation Reviews
Professional reviews from gaming critics
Coupled with the bright, colourful art style and cheery soundtrack, I honestly struggle to see how anyone could play one of these games and not enjoy their time with it. And, with each new game (or remake) showing an enhanced understanding of gameplay balance and depth, it’s easy to see that Compile Heart has developed itself a significant and meaningful little JRPG series. With the original trilogy remakes now completed, I can’t wait to get my paws on the franchise’s PlayStation 4 debut next.
Some new additions to the gameplay makes this title more than a simple Vita conversion, and great for those who never picked up the original. Still, if you already own it on the PS3 there is nothing that new to warrant a new purchase unless you need an RPG on the Vita or are a seasoned trophy hunter.
It's finally time to wrap up the original trilogy and Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3 V GENERATION is a lovely game to end on for sure.
Despite a lack of innovation, Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth3: V Generation still managed to charm me with its colourful cast of characters and engaging battle system.
