Inside My Radio is a short, but really fun, platformer where the wonderful worlds of gaming and music collide. It’s a fantastic way for those who aren’t musically gifted to find their sense of rhythm and learn how to count a beat. Its limited replayability stops it from being an essential title, but even so, if you’re looking to zone out and kick back for an evening, Inside My Radio is an excellent choice.

Overall though, Inside My Radio is just alright. There are clever environments and the experience of going inside the old radio is a cool one. The controls are just hard to really get on the hang of and it held my enjoyment of the title hostage. While I was complimenting the level design and puzzles, I was felt frustrated with the timing on jumping or slamming. Before you are at the point of fully grasping everything, the adventure is already over (minus the Time Attack you unlock thereafter). I don't even remember the story that the game was trying to tell, as it was largely glossed over duri...

As a rhythm game fan, I have to say that Inside My Radio left me disappointed. It might have been an amazing experience had I been unable to follow a simple beat upon starting up the game, but years of experience in the genre made the experience entirely trivial. I do think there is a great game here, but it would need a lot more expanding in order to contend with the greats of the genre.
