There are some concerns regarding performance in minigames and a lack of LEGO properties being represented, but overall, this is a must-have for anyone looking to add to their LEGO collection!

For Lego’s first party game, Lego Party is a strong entry, with lots of unlockable minifigures, the ability to create your own, and fun, distinct boards to play on.

LEGO Party! is a fun title that has a lot of differences from other titles you have played. Some weird comments and bugs pop up, but it’s still fun to play.

LEGO Party is a rather enjoyable party game that takes the best parts of Mario Party and mixes them with some neat new additions. The way that luck can completely flip a game isn’t my favorite thing, but if you don’t mind the silliness that comes with this sort of game, there’s plenty to do in this one.

Even so, LEGO Party is a polished, fun party game that delivers exactly what its title promises. It's basically Mario Party with LEGOs, but there is nothing wrong with that. Party game fans will get a lot out of LEGO Party, and while it may not have enough to justify playing it for hours on end in single sessions, it is something that will be easy to go back to on game nights.

We’ve had a number of Mario Kart clones over the past few years, and even a Smash Bros clone here or there, but Mario Party clones have been few and far between, until now. Meet LEGO Party, a bundle of mini-games looking to compete, if not best, Nintendo’s juggernaut.

Mine is a Mario Party household. Over the years my wife and child have enjoyed many nights of minigame-fueled board game chaos. Things always got heated, especially as we taught our young one to handle things not going his way. The grown-ups needed a refresher on those lessons as well, let’s be honest. LEGO Party! stands tall as one of the best games ever in the competitive board game-style genre. Sure, it's derivative of Mario Party, but it also improves on many games in that series in a multitude of ways. Almost all of the 60 mini-games here are truly great, the game boards are creative, and the player customization options feel endless. I do wish it had a couple additional modes and maybe another game board or two, but that's really just because I want more of this awesome title.
