Every moment of Limbo is incredible, so people are going to be talking about it for a while. It’s a game that you need to play if you’re hoping to keep up with the artistic conversation.

Limbo is easily worth it’s price, there is nothing quite like it. Never has a game shown me so many emotions in such a small space of time. From fear, to anger, to laughter. It’s a brilliant experience from beginning to end. If you loved Braid, you will love this. If you didn’t? Still give this a try you might find a place in your heart for this, the Nighty Night of games.

Limbo is an incredible achievement. Very few games are as original, atmospheric, and consistently brilliant as Limbo. It belongs in everybody's collection. The journey may be over too quickly, but you will be entertained every minute. This is one of my favorite games ever.

Rarely have I played a game (multiple times on various platforms, I might add) that so thoroughly nails the atmosphere. And that Playdead did this because they pursued visuals, audio, and gameplay simultaneously and not as silos speaks volumes that this game holds up so damn well after eight years. LIMBO is perhaps the greatest example of video games as an art form I have ever played.

Playdead's critically acclaimed Limbo has been slowly creeping onto just about every platform on the planet since its original release in 2010. Now, a whopping five years after its inaugural outing, the experience has lurched its way onto the PlayStation 4.
