Marble It Up! Ultra

The energetic music and incredibly colorful visuals add a sense of liveliness to the already frantic gameplay, making it easy to get lost in the game’s flow as you jettison your marble from here to there. It’s a sharp looking game with visuals that suit the straightforward but pleasant gameplay.

Marble It Up! offers a lot of levels and a fun little multiplayer mode to waste some time in. Zombies, gem hunting, etc are available for play although you’ll likely spend more time on the weekly level challenges and the main campaign unless you want to get specific marble gear tied to the multiplayer mode. The levels are great—sometimes tight, occasionally a little too simple for my liking, but I blew past them nonetheless. Checkpoints are evenly spaced out so every level can be beaten by all skill levels, all the while jiving to 70s synthetics. It’s the perfect pick up and play game.

If you’re fan of challenging arcade games and love competing for the top spots on leaderboards, it’s safe to say that Marble It Up! Ultra will absolutely be your jam. The gameplay here is simple but infectious, making you hit that retry button time and time again whether to simply finish a challenging skill-based stage or give it another go to improve your time. And thanks to weekly challenges, the fun doesn’t have to end. It’s just a shame it doesn’t have a local multiplayer component.

The latest game to carry on the surprisingly long lineage of marble-based platformers is Marble It Up! Ultra.

Despite some small hiccups with the general presentation of the game, Marble It Up! Ultra offers a fully featured package of over 100 intricately designed obstacle courses for players to learn and overcome.

A fun game that provides an entertaining and challenging experience!
