Minecraft Dungeons 2 is an enjoyable dungeon-crawling romp, especially with friends. And by that, I mean local friends, not online ones.
Minecraft Dungeons 2 takes undeniable steps forward with a fully interconnected Overworld, much-needed mobility upgrades, and a visually striking new dimension that teases the franchise's future. However, despite a deeper loot system and smart quality-of-life changes, the core experience doesn't step out of its comfort zone quite enough to convert anyone who wasn't already a fan. Ultimately, it remains a highly polished, accessible "Diablo for kids" that existing fans will adore, even if it leaves hardcore ARPG veterans wanting more.
